      I don’t have a specific stocking pattern because I usually work with a simple stocking outline. Then I cut out Christmas-themed shapes from felt and use them as flat appliqués. I place them on the stocking and sew around the edges with a blanket stitch. After the design is attached, I sew the second stocking layer on top so it’s sturdy and ready to fill.
